The exhibition, The Color of Motion, will open at the Agora Gallery in New York on January 2. The exhibit will showcase Venezuelan artist Beatriz Domingo.

Venezuelan Artist Beatriz Domingo Exhibits in New York

Beatriz Domingo�s mastery of the language of color and line comes to life in her art. Her intrepid abstract acrylics are a world of fluid forms where mood is set by symbolic and expressive color values. The recurring shape of the circle becomes a portal, guiding the viewer through the spaces of the painting. Beatriz Domingo paints with immediacy and intensity; her color choices are strong and bold and her Abstract Expressionist use of line is pure. By bringing into play color groupings of tranquil blues and sultry fuchsias, or fresh greens and fiery reds in combination with strong blacks, Domingo creates movement through her use of circles and space. The blacks take the dominant role of dimensional creators, while the joyous oranges and lime greens convey the free and painterly spirit of her work. Beatriz Domingo lives and works in her native Venezuela, where she exhibits regularly.
 
Beatriz Domingo�s paintings will be on display from January 2 to January 23 in The Color of Motion, Agora Gallery, 530 West 25th Street, Chelsea, New York.
