Change Bill Costley and Michael Smith

The night before the morning that shall never come

it is almost midnight in Amsterdam
it is dark outside
a dark night
a dark Christmas,  no snow
and probably a dark Eid for Islam
and a dark Silvester Eve , very soon

Baghdad is also dark
even during the day
there is no light
and the only colour is red
the red of blood

Baghdad is dark tonight
and more darkness shall follow

As once my brothers did not stand behind the son of Abi Taleb
neither behind the grand sons of Abi Taleb
today they turn their back  to the son of Tikrit .

Once 2006 years ago , the son of Mariam
was handed over from the occupiers jail
into the powers of theocracy
today the son of Tikrit shall change hands
from the occupiers into the occupied theocracy-hypocrisy

and maybe when I wake up tomorrow morning
the sun shall not rise in Baghdad , nor in heart.

Good night Arabs
Good night Third World
Good night Freedom
Good night Liberation

Sleep well , if you can.....
