GAZA - The Israelis continue their indiscriminate aggressive attacks in the Gaza Strip for the 18th consecutive day. 1022 Palestinians, at least 225 children have been killed, over 4,500 are wounded, amidst the massive destruction of Palestinian residential areas, buildings and property continues.

The Israeli army are bombarding Gaza from the air, the sea and with ground artillery. The situation in the Gaza hospitals is shocking, in particular in the intense care and the orthopedic departments at the Ash-Shifa Hospital in Gaza City, the largest hospital in Gaza Strip.

Some 35,520 people have taken shelter in UN-run schools across Gaza after fleeing their homes. In the last three days, this number have increased with 7.436 people. Gaza City is on Wednesday night surrounded by tanks. The small towns and villages of the northern Gaza Strip are invaded, Israeli snipers are hiding on the rooftops targeting civilians.

The massacre unfolding in Gaza, can be compared to the terrifying events of Quana in Lebanon, where the Israelis conducted massacres in 1998 and 2006.The Israelis were using cluster bombs and phosphorous bombs against civilian targets during their war on Lebanon 2006.

On Saturday Israeli F16 warplanes launched attacks using phosphorus bombs on the Block 2 section inside the densely populated Jabalya Refuge Camp. On Wednesday evening the population in the northern Beit Lahia Project nearby Jabalya were subject to the most aggressive attacks. The heavy bombardment released white clouds.

Islam says that he was almost fainting, blinded and suffocated from the dense sticky smoke that had a disgusting smell. Field investigations in Gaza have indicated that the Israelis have used prohibited chemical weapons, phosphorus bombs against civilian population throughout the Gaza Strip. The use of white phosphorus is legal only when it is confined to the use as a means of creating smoke screens or illuminating targets.
