GAZA - In what appears to be the Israelis showdown, [the prevalence of animals of the more dangerous species], a crescendo of evil and excessive force, Israeli warplanes launched heavy attacks on more than 70 targets in Gaza over night: Gaza City, Jabaliya in the northern parts of Gaza City, Beit Lahiya, and Khan Younis in the southern parts of Gaza Strip.

Thousands of residents in Gaza City fled their homes, when Israeli death squadrons backed by tanks and bulldozers, invaded Gaza City from the southern parts on Thursday morning. In Khan Younis people took to the streets, searching shelter in schools. On the first floor or down the basement of their homes, the inhabitants in Beit Lahia and Jabaliya tried to take cover from sniper fire and Israeli missiles shelling their neighborhoods with dangerous white phosphoric bombs.

On Thursday morning the Israeli military said it would continue its operations in Gaza, despite reports that Hamas had accepted an Egyptian proposal for a cease fire.

Until now, over 70 Gaza residents are confirmed killed in this last intense Israeli shelling. Gaza Health Ministry, said that the official death toll now count 1,054 killed people and more than 4,600 injured in the 18 days of the Israelis onslaught on Gaza Strip.

Israeli F16 jets pounded the central parts of Gaza City. A store nearby the famous Al-Karameh towers in central Gaza City was hit, as was the Bashir Holy Mosque and the Al Argam school in the eastern parts of Gaza City. In the morning, Israeli death squads attacked a media compound, NBC, home to Reuters news agency, and a number of Arab media networks in Gaza City. Two journalists working for Abu Dhabi television were injured, when at least one heavy shell, struck the building.

Israeli warplanes fired white phosphorus bombs on the United Nations UNRWA building in Gaza City just before noon. The UNRWA compound marked with UN flags, was hit by three bomb-shells containing white phosphorus, banned by the Geneva Convention. Three people inside the building were injured. More than 700 Gaza residents which had earlier searched shelter in the compound, were in the building when it was hit.

The UN building burned until the late after noon. Since the Israeli "Casting Lead Operation" began at the 27 of December, phosphorous bombs have been launched on homes, mosques, schools, hospitals, universities and governmental buildings.

The Israelis have repeatedly denied the use of forbidden chemical weapons across Gaza Strip, just as they did when they where accused of using phosphorous bombs in two of their previous wars, 1998 and 2006 in Lebanon. Photographic evidence and chemical analyses taken in Gaza Strip proves that the Israelis are lying, just as theywere after their genocidal operations using phosphorous bombs - and cluster bombs on the civilian population in Lebanon.

The United Nations spokesperson in Gaza City, Adnan Abu-Hasna said earlier today -

“We know the bombs where white phosphorus, observing the heat and light of the combustion, as well as the color of some charred parts of vehicles and other damage.”-

Chris Gunness, of the UN Relief and Works Agency UNRWA, in Gaza also confirmed that shells from the projectiles contained the dangerous chemical substance.“It looks like phosphorus, it smells like phosphorus and it burns like phosphorus”.

Ban Ki-Moon, the UN Secretary-General had just arrived in Tel Aviv, at the time of the Israelis onslaught across Gaza Strip.Ki-Moon condemned the attack on the UN compound saying that

"I am conveying my strongest protest and outrage to Ehud Barack[the Israeli defense minister] and to the foreign minister, I have demanded a full investigation".After the bombardment of UN Building, the Zionist and warlord Ehud Barak, reportedly asked the UN leader for forgiveness, saying the attack was "a big mistake".

On Thursday Israeli snipers opened fire on families running with their small children in their arms, to take shelter in a Red Crescent hospital in the Tel Al-Hawa area of Gaza. One family approached the hospital, then Israeli snipers started firing at the family. Sharon Locke, an Australian volunteer at Al-Quds Hospital, a witness to the shooting said,

"They shot a young girl right in her face and her abdomen. Her father was shot in the leg and fell to the ground, while the girls mother was screaming that one of her daughters was still outside hiding behind a three, too scared to move. A medical employee at the hospital, Mohammed, ran outside and carried her in to the hospital".

The Al-Quds Hospital went up in flames after it was targeted and Israeli artillery shells struck the buildings. The hospital was hit with three missiles on Thursday, two of them were white phosphorus bombs. Fire engulfed the hospital’s second floor, the administration building, a storehouse, and the hospital pharmacy was also hit. The shrapnel from the bombs was scattered inside the hospital but no one was injured. "Our traumatised patients panicked and had to be moved to the ground floor," said Dr. Bashar Morad, director of Palestine Red Crescent emergency medical services.
