Statement by the Bolivarian Government of Venezuela:

The government and people of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela wishes to express their most firm support to the President of the Republic of Bolivia Evo Morales in this moment when a new battle is being fought for the abiding by of the mandate established in the new constitution, which was approved by the overwhelming vote of most of the people ion January 2009.

The acts of devotion and courage of President Morales is an example of dignity for all the Latin American people; and it will surely stop, together with the noble Bolivian people, the new manipulation attempt promoted y domestic sectors and their international allies, both interested in maintaining their old privileges.

The search for the full social equality and justice of our people is a historical fight, and it was the spirit that guided our Liberators in the emancipation and independence of our countries. Today, the noble Bolivian people continue fighting in order to achieve the full justice and rights of their citizens.

The people and government of Venezuela reiterates its solidarity and support to the people and government of the Republic of Bolivia in a fight that will serve the consolidation of true democracy in Bolivia and all the peoples of Our America.
