The Islamic Republic of Iran busted a spy racket linked with the US intelligence agency CIA and arrested 30 people for operating an internet network to gather secret data.
In 2006, America's Central Intelligence Agency, CIA, drew up a plan for destabilizing Iran and the Congress allocated a 400 million dollar budget for its operation.
Afterward, America set up a new campaign in the intelligence front - the cyber war - with the help of anti-revolutionary agents including the terrorist MKO group, monarchists and some other groups.
Iran Proxy was one of the main projects of the campaign, which received $50 million from the CIA and the US State Department.
It was active under the cover of America's Foreign Secretary of State's IBB office.
Infiltration into the information banks, hacking Iranian websites, bypassing the filtering system of the country, providing security for users of virtual websites against IRI, providing safe grounds for interview with Radio Farda, Radio Zamaneh, VOA and other western media were among activities of Iran Proxy.
The program was designed to obtain personal and family information of its users and pass them on to US spy agencies.
The CIA's cyber services, just in the recent developments in Iran, waged massive psychological war against IRI by creating over 70 million top internet filter breakers.
Launching a network which covers MKO's activities under the name of 'Human Rights Activists' is another measure of America.
The network via some of its agents has relations with high ranking figures in America and is supported by American policy makers.
