Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro announced Friday that authorities have captured nine of the killers believed to be responsible for the murder of socialist deputy Robert Serra. He went on to note that the government is still conducting an ongoing search for the whereabouts for the additional three suspects.

In a press conference, President Maduro showed photos of the fugitives and encouraged citizens to provide any tips as to the location of the men at large.

Leiver Padilla also known as “El Colombia” is the reported leader of the paramilitary gang that carried out the assassination of the Venezuelan Deputy and his companion María Herrera on the first of October.

Padilla Johnny is one of the three remaining fugitives who remains wanted by the Venezuelan government for the murder of Serra and companion, which took place in his home is Western Caracas.

Fariñez Palomino also referred to as "El M", is also wanted by the Venezuelan Justice department.

“We know who gave the orders, we know how much they were paid, we know that they received orders from a Colombian paramilitary”, Maduro stated. “Robert, wherever are you, there will be justice for you,” Maduro stated.
