Let me start this off with this, I am a Muslim myself, and this isn't an attack. But in light of recent events, I need to get this out.
To my sisters and brothers in belief, our religion is being controlled. Controlled by men who wish to see the modern world burn, for the crime of having its own beliefs. I know the vast majority are not part of this. In fact, the vast majority wish to live a good life and to be peaceful, setting an example by living in such a way. But we can't do this anymore. Terrorists take advantage of our silence, and destroy innocent lives, tearing families apart, and making other believe that this is the path of the righteous.
I, for one, am sick of it. I refuse to allow warmongers to take what I believe in and use it as justification. We aren't to blame for these attacks, but until we come together and tell them that they can't use the words of Allah to commit these attacks, they're only going to gain more and more momentum. It is our time to speak. Our time to stand. And it will be by our front that we can strip these bastards of the facade they have put up and reveal them for what they are, criminals who have no regard for human life, least of which the people who follow them.
As a final note, to everyone in Paris, in Canada, and anywhere else these thugs have attacked, I truly am sorry. No one deserves to die, least of all those just trying to make a living for themselves. You are all strong enough to rebuilt, and I know you have the support of people worldwide to do so.
Paris is only a symptom, the disease keeps growing.
