        Fifty Shades of Freddie Gray

Six officers charged with the homicide,
three white - three black, what law abides?

Maybe his name gives a clue
how to “all get along” as Rodney King asked in 1992.

Fifty shades of Freddie Gray,
maybe his loss can save the day.

He had a lengthy police record mostly for dangerous substances controlled[1]
but that doesn’t warrant a spine-bending stranglehold.

One report said “his head struck a bolt in a Baltimore police van”[2]
all because when he first saw the police he ran.

Fifty shades of Freddie Gray,
maybe his loss can save the day.

In Atlanta a Black handcuffed woman shot dead by black cops[3]
this is all as crazy as white, gray, black PSYOPS,[4]

and people in other cities protesting and getting arrested
for protesting the loss of Freddie Gray who was arrested.

It’s sad but not surprising given the class warfare
of a rigged capitalist system that doesn’t play fair.

Black entertainers and sports stars have their day
but the common man’s lifestyle is kept at bay

and it gets even harder to just “stay calm”
when you learn what’s going down because of AFRICOM.[5]

Fifty shades of Freddie Gray,
maybe his loss can save the day.

And we can’t rule out the possibility it was semi-staged[6]
intending to elicit the minority’s rage

because that would give reason for more control
and the blessing of the state to “just do what you are told.”

Fifty shades of Freddie Gray,
maybe his loss can save the day.

Archenemy gangs the Bloods and the Crips
suddenly friendly are coming to grips.

The best news interview in the know
was not from mainstream-media but a comedy show;

the Bloods and the Crips in Baltimore
met at a diner with Larry Wilmore.[7]

Fifty shades of Freddie Gray,
maybe his loss can save the day.
