Prime Minister Justin Trudeau's mask of being progressive is starting to fall off and never more so than on his recent visit to India. His constant choreographed changing and wearing of various Indian outfits is for show and concretely for getting votes in 2019. It's meant to show Canadians, and particularly the Indian population back home, how progressive his thinking is when it comes to other races and nationalities - as long as they are not Palestinian, Russian, Venezuelan, African or First Nations.

If you want to know what Justin Trudeau really thinks about Israel's genocidal occupation, military violence and destruction and plundering of Palestinian homes and land, only to rebuild new homes on that same land for Jewish settlers (mainly from Europe) to move in, listen to this video of our Prime Minister telling the world that "We Have Israels Back!"

Implicitly it also says everything we need to know about what he thinks of Palestine.

Russia and Venezuela are two of the countries that the U.S. has targeted for outright imperial domination by first demonizing and lying about both countries. Justin Trudeau supports the U.S. propaganda and long term goal of U.S. domination of both of these countries, even using the same terminology the U.S. government and military use when criticizing them.

Africa and First Nations have always been lied to by the Canadian government - it's just that Trudeau is particularly good at it. However, not for long, as Africans and First Nations readily detect the lying at the early stages of our government's deception.

Once I realized that Trudeau's was continuing his predecessor Stephen Harper's neoliberal policies and continued support of Harper's U.S. Imperial foreign policy, then it was not a big leap to realize that it is the neoliberal/corporate/political/military elites, domestically and globally, who are Trudeau's advisors - going back at least to Trudeau's election campaign.

Who else would be advising Trudeau to sign as many corporate controlled trade deals as possible, while telling Canadians that they are free trade deals that will create jobs and more profits for Canadians, that they are not Canadian wealth giveaways, nor are they democracy-destroying corporate/political controls?

Who else would be telling Trudeau to privatize public assets, when building Canada's new infrastructure and telling Canadians that private industry will share the burden of cost, including creating a new infrastructure bank?

Who else would be advising Trudeau to completely support Israel in whatever horror that they commit against Palestine and other sovereign nations?

Who else would be advising Trudeau to go ahead with the building of pipelines and then having him tell Canadians that he is still going to achieve his climate change goals?

Who else would be advising Trudeau to follow American foreign policy completely, including embracing militarism, in order to fight American wars?

Who else would be advising Trudeau to implement policies that ultimately lead to the destruction of Canadian public programs and Canadian democratic institutions and telling Canadians that he is only concerned with doing what is in the best interest of Canadians.

Who else indeed!

Until Canadians realize that it is the unelected corporate/political/military elite, domestically and globally, that really govern Canada, this country will continue to be economically and politically exploited, our wealth plundered and our welfare state and democracy dismantled.

Trudeau's job is to keep the Liberal government's real neoliberal and foreign affairs imperial policy agenda hidden from Canadians. One of the ways he does this is by travelling across Canada, attending town hall meetings, which are really campaign stops, and attempting to control the message and the myth of him being progressive. His goal is to convince Canadians by calling himself a feminist, or attending a gay pride parade, or dressing up in different outfits of a country that he is visiting, like India, or dabbing his eyes while tearing up when he apologizes to LGBT Canadians for a decades-long legacy of systemic discrimination, or breaking out in tears when he talks about Gord Downie's death [Downie is the recently deceased front man for a much beloved Canadian band, The Tragically Hip - prh, ed.].

All of this is meant for Canadians to think of Trudeau as a sensitive and progressive Prime Minister who can even cry in front of us. Ask yourself if it's possible for the 'sensitive and progressive' Trudeau to support the brutal, ruthless killing by the U.S. and Israel and the endless violent suffering caused by both countries as they systematically decimate and destroy individual sovereign nations causing millions of citizens to flee. Or how about the rise of cholera and starvation of the people of Yemen caused by Saudi Arabia and backed by the U.S. Saudi Arabia, an ally of Canada who was sold $15Billion of armoured combat vehicles from Trudeau's Liberal government. Now who would be advising Trudeau to do the deal with Saudi Arabia and then to tell Canadians that "We need to be able to project to the world that when Canada agrees to something, it sticks to its word"?

Is it possible for Trudeau to publicly shed tears at the suffering of some people, past and/or present, such as the LGBT and at the same time be completely indifferent to the suffering of other people such as Palestinians, Venezuelans and the Yemeni and Iraqi people to name a few? Trudeau even supports the suffering that he and his government contribute to - like Palestine - and supports those countries that cause sustained suffering to others, countries like the U.S. and Israel to name just two.

We have a Prime Minister who uses inauthentic words and emotional displays to manipulate the Canadian public, because his neoliberal/imperial policies are to be hidden at all costs. He is swindling Canadians with his false rhetoric. There is no way he cannot know what he is doing. The magnitude of his deception and betrayal of the Canadian people is off the charts.

Canadians need to start understanding exactly who their PM is fronting for, or who else is going to stop him?
