Happy Birthday to my dear friend Les | <B>Editor's Choice</B> |Axisoflogic.com

My partner and co-editor at Axis of Logic is Les Blough (also the original founder of this site). Today is his birthday, and it's a milestone birthday.

We have worked together on this site for many years now and it is safe to say that I have never had a better collaborator on any project. He is a rock.

Les lives in Venezuela, but he is originally from the United States - where all of his family lives. He is presently visiting - partly to celebrate his birthday - and it was my plan to travel to Florida - unannounced - and just knock on the door to surprise him. For reasons I have already explained to Les, I can't make it happen. I am more disappointed by this than I'm able to express. I haven't seen him for several years and looked forward to giving him a big hug. I also wanted very much to meet his daughters and I'm disappointed that this isn't going to happen either.

Anyone who knows me or has followed my work on this site might be surprised. Let me be clear: Attending this celebration is the ONLY thing that could have tempted me to set foot in the United States.

So to Les, mi hermano, I wish you all the very best on this day and for many more days and years to come. We will meet again. Please give your daughters a hug from me.
