US citizens foot the bill while their government is buying loyalty elsewhere Printer friendly page Print This

So a recent news article reveals the United States ambassador to the United Nations, Nikki Haley, has handed over a cheque for $9 million to support alleged refugees from Venezuela hiding out in Colombia.

Whenever an American State Official like Haley is walking around with a big cheque made out to the U.S.'s latest appeasing group, it is this group's loyalty that the U.S. is buying. In this case it is the Colombians for trying to assassinate Venezuelan president Nicolás Maduro, paid for by the U.S. and also for the Colombian's taking in of the alleged Venezuelan refugees.

Even though the assassination plot failed, I'm sure the Colombians got a lot more money and will continue to get a lot more than $9 million. Paying $9 million in aid for the alleged Venezuelan refugees is done openly and is done strictly for show. Bigger payouts require bigger loyalties, so I expect there are more plots to come in trying to rid of Maduro. Those cheques, however, will not be carried openly.

How much does Maduro pay the people who follow him? My guess is $0.00. Loyalty for Maduro comes from sharing an idea of the kind of country that most Venezuelans want. What kind of country do Venezuelans want to live in? A free, democratic, sovereign nation ruled by law and governed by a freely elected government that is ultimately accountable to the Venezuelan people.

This is the political ideal that the Venezuelan people and Maduro share. This is why they voted for him to lead their country. It is this ideal that they and Maduro are loyal to. No money changes hands, only a fierce drive to achieve self-determination, as their right, and supported by Venezuelan and International law.

If the U.S was not the predatory Empire that it is and was instead a genuinely democratic nation, that respected international law and the sovereignty of all other countries, we would be able to see first hand how countries like Venezuela thrive also as as free, democratic nations. Remove the U.S. as an imperial power and you'll find yourself living in a world of peace and prosperity.

As long as the U.S. pays millions and billions to those who will topple governments that the U.S. points to, those receiving the money will always be loyal - not to the U.S., but to the money. The important question to ask about an assassination or an attempted assassination is not who fired the shot, but who paid for the bullet.

The American people should take note that in order for the criminal cartel that disguises itself as their government to once again attempt to plunder another countries wealth, this cartel must first plunder the wealth of the American people.

When the American government goes country shopping, it is the American people who foot the bill. The genocide, starvation and plundering that goes with their government's shopping trip is also paid for by the American people.

Only in America could Donald Trump become president and only in Venezuela could Maduro become president. Those two facts alone should tell you everything you need to know about either country.
