How thick is the icing on this cake?
By Pat Gallagher

How thick is the icing on this cake?

Double Chocolate with marshmallow, the story goes.
Spoon by spoon we're getting only icing.
Where's the cake? Does anyone know?
Icing's making us real stupid and fat.

Maybe that's the plan.

Scrape away the propagandist goo,
Let's see the cake.
We find it's liver and greasy onions
Take whiff…. Really… Ooo!
No wonder they still peddle goo.

One day they'll run out of icing
No more JonBenets
Out of the comfort zone, into the questions
That send the liver people to Jail.

Maybe that's a plan.
