Subject: Your Middle East policy
Dear President Bush,
I write to you as an elderly lawyer who has spent many long years trying to bring justice to all people, without fear or favour, and whetever their religion or lack of it and whatever their race and ethnic origin.
Happily for the world, you will in January next come to the end of your disastrous reign over the USA, but we shall all have to live with the results of the worst of your policies which remains your constant desire to please your Zionist masters who have invaded and occupied what is, for each of us who is a Jew, a Christian or a Muslim, the Holy Land. At your masters' request you have supplied them with the means to kill and maim and you have yourself used your own country's forces to attack those whom they accuse of being their enemies, without seeking any justification for any of these crimes.
The cost in deaths and injuries of your behaviour will probably never be fully known to mankind, but even though your god Mammon may rejoice in this sacrifice in blood and suffering, the one true God of love will have wept and suffered with your victims. It matters little whether your sacrificial offerings are members of the armed forces of the USA and their subject nations, those of defenceless Palestinian, Iraqi and Lebanese civilians or any others. They have all suffered and/or died to achieve your ambition of a Middle East where only the Zionist "state" remains all powerful, and your cowed "allies" join you in bowing down to worship the golden calf of Mammon.
Most of humanity will be glad to see you depart, even if we fear that your successor will probably follow your vicious policies.
What is more, we still hope that you will spend the rest of your life in prison after being sentenced for your odious crimes against humanity as well as your war-crimes, all having been so clearly defined in the Nuremberg Principles, unanimously agreed and accepted by ther victorious Allies, including your own country, after the Second World War.
If you had any understanding of Justice, Freedom or Democracy, or any other of the values which we cherish, you would surrender yourself for trial, and serve your inevitable sentence with all due humility and contrition. Most sadly however, it is likely that you will live a life of luxury in your adopted state of Texas, closely protected from anyone who tries to bring you to justice.
I express the wish that you could be converted to Christianity to bring you to an understanding of the magnitude of your crimes, and of the need for repentance, when we who admit that we are not without fault could welcome you back into the loving communion of those who acknowledge their sinfulness.
