It is obvious that the Billary couple have seen the advantages of their latest moves. We must never forget that, despite some success in Northern Ireland, he was a terrible failure with his murderous policies in Iraq and elsewhere, and she has throughout been trying to get votes by saying how wonderful it would be to have a woman president, as if she were the perfect incarnation of womankind. Never must we forget the story of dangerous snipers in Bosnia, who turned out to have been rather sweet little girls offering bunches of flowers.
However, they have been able to see clearly that the chaos which will remain after the end of the reign of George W. Bush will be almost impossible to change into any semblance of order within one four-year term. Therefore, whichever of the present leading candidates wins, he will be almost bound to fail to please the voters in general, even if the shadowy real rulers will again make huge profits from the misery of their fellow-countrymen.
They can now show what marvellous and faithful party members they are by working hard for the Obama campaign, and they will remain ready and (only too) willing to take over to fight the 2012 election. On the other hand, if Senator McCain should win, they consider that she is the "natural" and "logical" choice to represent the Democrats next time.
This, in their highly cynical view, puts them into a "win-win" position whatever happens, and explains why they have bounced back to appear to be extremely cheerful "losers" in this first round of their fight to rule once more.
If the USA are to elect a woman as president, which is certainly in no way a problem in itself, we have to hope that the candidate will not only be more honest but will also have real experience without any scandalous baggage, exactly as should be shown by any male candidate. We also have to hope that this bounce back will be as much of a failure as this crafty scheming couple's earlier attempt to be chosen this time.
