Senator John McCain, famous for having survived harsh imprisonment after having bombed defenceless civilians, is, despite his denials, the obvious champion of a third Bush term if elected to the presidency of the USA, and we must scrutinise with care the choice which he makes of a vice-presidential running mate.
He could, for example, go for one of the many disgraced figures of the present régime, either still in office or departed, and the most congenial for him would probably be Donald Rumsfeld, another twisted 'veteran' of previous imperial conflicts.
On the other hand, to play the anti-racist card, he could call on Dr Condoleezza Rice and this would also exemplify his love of diplomatic dishonesty and double-speak. We have to remember that he, with the support of his then favourite preacher, Mr John C. Hagee, had made even wilder promises than those made by Senator Obama to give unfailing support to the oppressors in the Holy Land.
Several commentators have already described Mr George W. Bush as the worst president in the history of the USA, but it is possible that, if Senator McCain should succeed him, he would surpass his 'friend' and predecessor both in evil and in stupidity, without the excuse of invincible innocence (through ignorance).
If this third Bush term is to come, we can expect the worst. This comes at a time when we are told that the Zionists have proved that by bombing Iran they are capable of lighting the fuse to set off the fire-ball which would destroy our civilisation.
No doubt such an uncivilised man as Senator McCain has no love either for our civilisation or for its culture, and we outside the USA must assume that his presidency (if he 'wins') will continue the Bush régime's hatred for us and for our desire for peace and justice.
How can we face the possibility of such a president of the USA?
