Since basically you feel there's little difference between the candidates...How about this proposal instead:
We criticize companies for trying to monopolize markets. We criticize children for not letting someone else "get a turn".
A white male has occupied the White House since our Founding Fathers. AMERICA...VOTE FOR OBAMA...It's someone else's turn!

Dear Deborah,
Thanks very much for writing to us regarding our editorial position, "Vote Not to Vote in 2008". We agree it is very tempting to vote for the first African American who has ever won the presidential primaries in the U.S. The US government has been dominated by white males for far too long. However, we also think that it is wrong to vote for a person solely on the basis of the color of their skin.
Colon Powell and Condaleeza Rice are also African Americans and they, like the rest of the Bush Regime are directly responsible for the deaths, permanent injuries and displacement of millions of people in the wars against the people of Iraq, Afghanistan, Palestine and other countries.
The color of their skin does not absolve them of the blood they have spilt. Barack Obama has consistently voted to fund the war in Iraq and in his most recent speech, he indicated that he will pull troops from Iraq only to concentrate the war on Afghanistan and Pakistan. He has also pledged his uncritical support to Israel, continuing the war against the people of Palestine. If he wins the general election for president of the United States, the path to his victory will have been stained in blood. The well-meaning people of the United States who vote for Obama will share in his responsibility for more war and more human suffering.
With Obama as president, the same beast will have gone underground. The only good thing that can be said about the Bush Regime is that with Bush, the beast in Washington has raised its ugly head above ground, showing the world what the racist, war-mongering US government really is and always has been. If/when Obama is elected, we will only have the "gentler and kinder" government of George H.W. Bush who bombed Iraq in 1991.
