ALBA - the Bolivarian Alliance of the Peoples of the Americas has strengthened the sovereignty of the countries of Central America and the Caribbean and permitted economic justice for their peoples by means of policies of redistribution of wealth and resources. For rejecting the domination of giant multinational corporations and the capitalist system as such, ALBA has been fiercely attacked by the governments of the United States, the European Union and their local allies. One very dishonest line of attack has been to criticise the transparency of the use of ALBA's funds. This video shows the falsity of those attacks and the undeniable benefits of ALBA for the region and specifically, in this case, Nicaragua.
