Retired Philadelphia Police Captain arrested for joining the Occupy Movement. (Updated & Corrected)
By Capt Ray Lewis interviewed by the Occupy Movement
The Occupy Movement in NY
Thursday, Nov 17, 2011

Philadelphia Police Captain Ray Lewis arguing with an NYPD cop while demonstrating in the Occupy Movement and calling the police, "Wall Street Mercenaries."

Philadelphia Police Captain Ray Lewis in dress uniform, arrested and handcuffed by lower ranking cops in the NYPD for joining the peaceful protest in Occupy Wall Street.

Editor's Note: The interview is obviously an improv which we love because it's real and not staged. We'd like to ask a few more penetrating questions however about his process for breaking ranks with the cops' inside protection racket and how this is going to affect him personally. A few hours after posting this video an Axis of Logic reader informed us that Ray Lewis is a retired Philadelphia police captain and not a member of the NYPD. After this video appeared with Capt. Lewis and his sign, "NYPD Don't Be Wall Street Mercenaries," he was arrested yesterday by the NYPD. The photo of Capt. Lewis handcuffed in his police captain's dress uniform is nothing short of bizarre.
