HAVANA, Cuba, Jan 9 (acn) The Foreign Ministers of Chile, Cuba and Venezuela, which make up the troika of the recently created Community of Latin American and the Caribbean States (CELAC) will have their first meeting in Santiago de Chile, reported Prensa Latina news agency.
Chilean FM Alfredo Moreno will preside over the meeting on behalf of his
country, pro-tempore president of the regional bloc and host of its II
Summit this year.
Moreno will have private meetings as well with his Cuban and Venezuelan
counterparts, Bruno Rodriguez and Nicolas Maduro, respectively.
When taking position as head of CELAC, the Chilean president Sebastian
PiƱera said it was a great honor for his country such responsibility.
