a documentary that follows investigative journalist Jeremy Scahill as
he chases down the hidden truth behind the US government's "global war"
theory, used to justify killings around the world with drones and other weapons. It opens in theatres on June 7, 2013. Amnesty International USA is partnering with the filmmakers on a campaign to prevent extrajudicial executions by the US government, whether with drones or any other weapon. The U.S. government's "global war" theory is being used to justify human rights violations. Amnesty International is pushing to have the law at the heart of the "global war" theory - 2001 Authorization for Use of Military Force (AUMF) – repealed.
