More than a dozen people were hospitalized after two Disney buses crashed into each other near Epcot Tuesday morning, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

The crash happened about 10 a.m. on Epcot Center Drive near World Drive, FHP Lt. Kim Montes said. A bus driven by 21-year-old Jacob Buettner of St. Cloud ran into the back of another, driven by 62-year-old Betty Fulmer of Davenport.

Montes said 51 people were on the buses. Fourteen were taken to the hospital with minor injuries, FHP said in a statement.

Neither driver was hurt.

"Nothing is more important than the safety of our guests and Cast Members and we are currently focused on the well-being of those involved in the situation," a Disney spokesperson said in a statement.

Buettner was ticketed for careless driving, Montes said.
