An Argentine, Diego W. has been in Venezuela since the end of last month and he has put together the following videos of what life is like in Caracas since, as we have been reliably and honestly informed by the corporate media, there is chaos, protest, no food ... and all the propaganda you want to repeat. The second part of the video is shot in the supermarket Excelsior Gama "PLUS" located in the East of Caracas on the Av. Rómulo Gallegos, opposite the Miranda metro station. I recognize it due to the layout and the tables as I often buy food there. And ... talking about food ... were the shelves bare with no products? This may be only one supermarket but it is indicative that there are no crushing shortages in Venezuela that are driving people to the edge of starvation. It's just all black propaganda against the Maduro government. Diego W. goes to Capitolio in the centre of Caracas and passes by the Casa Bolívar which is now a museum. This is in the Plaza San Jacinto which is clearly recognizable. Look at the people in the street in this video. Do they look as if they are starving or are skin and bones? Of course not, and this is a good reason why we do not need dried food in the form of "humanitarian aid" as it is simply a poisoned chalice to spark intervention. Latest on Guaidó Guaidó is becoming more and more absurd and dangerous. He is saying that he is going to open the road to allow the aid into the country from the Colombian border "using volunteers". He has also said that he may authorize US intervention into the country - this is dangerous and could lead to a bloodbath, at least on the border with Colombia, Meanwhile, in the UN, the US despite all its bellicose threats is trying to force a vote on holding elections in Venezuela in the Security Council. It needs 2/3 vote to be taken as a resolution but, even if passed, the resolution will inevitably be vetoed by Russia, China or both. Now, watch the videos and see that all is calm in Caracas and well worth a visit!! (If you do not understand Spanish, you can use the autotranslate tool.) |
