Delila sings a new song called "Running for a Dream" in Fundao, Portugal. This is the only version that exists (as of March 2019). It's a song about the hopes, aspirations, and desperations of a person who is forced to cross the border in search of a better life for the loved ones left behind. This is an attempt to humanize refugees so as to remind ourselves that no human life is inferior to another because of their nationality, race, religion, class, or gender. Once we rid ourselves of all prejudice, then we can be truly free and see the criminal policies of our rulers for what they are. Studio versions of this song are in the works. |
