The Math, Suckers

$65-billion served
for McUkraine
while in USA $4 to over $6
to drive-thru fast-food
to get home cheap quick
to root for Weapons vs. weapons,
Russophobia vs. McNATO
robbing petrol to pay pallbearers
to carry the war-dead, the starving-dead —
do the sad math, suckers.

Remember Five-and-Dime stores?
Now the economy nickel-and-dimes us,
wait, now it buck-or-mores us
at every store yet there’s still
the Dollar Store while the guy on the street
cries “Balloon economy,
inflation, inflation, then . . .
do the aftermath, suckers.”

Are you how high
can prices go? No worries
with legal weed, except when
you get the munchies then
back to the more than dollar stores,
to get home cheap quick
to root for Truth vs. empire of lies,
Mercy vs. brutality.

Brutality counts the coffers and the coffins
yet for a random act of Mercy
there’s no way to measure that,
no way to do the math or count the apples
falling too far from the trees.
