Big Pharma
Big Tech
Big Ag
Big Box
Big Brother
Big deal
Big shot
Big time
Bigot

an ant
a grain of sand
that one long eyelash you gotta pluck
a speck in the eye that takes fifteen-minutes to get out
the tiny pebble in the shoe

small change
small fries
small talk
narrow mind
curvaceous body
rock solid abs
line dancing
standing in line for
Big Pharma
Big Tech
Big Ag
Big Box
Big Brother

tiny house movement
Tiny Tim singing
“tiptoe through the tulips with me”
the itsy bitsy spider
read the fine print
careful when you sign on the dotted matrix line
so many people seeing the world
through rose-colored 3D-glasses

swirly spirals in the center of a sunflower
rain falling at an angle because of the wind
i don’t know how to describe the shapes
a branch with leaves makes dancing with the wind
but is that the sound of one hand clapping?

spiraling down the drain
in different directions depending upon
which hemisphere you’re in
water with bits of shaven beard

the seasons sorta do that too
they’re not an exact science
because they’re not too big for their britches
but they’re the biggest thing going
and coming
and being
