The Victory of Fidel Castro's Cuban Revolution

IN PICTURES:

Since the triumph of the Cuban Revolution in 1959, Fidel Castro has inspired millions to fight for a better world through the achievements and sacrifices of its people. The revolution that no one said could survive has not only proved the naysayers wrong, but continues to triumph, leading the world with its universal health care and education system. To honour Fidel Castro's 90th birthday, teleSUR celebrates the Cuban leader's landmark achievements.
