www.axisoflogic.com is comprised of an all-volunteer group of writers and editors who are committed to publishing news and commentary that is often not presented in the major news outlets. We research news and opinion from around the world on a daily basis. We also announce action alerts, conferences and seminars. The editorial choices we make have no hidden agenda and are not attached to any particular ideology or political organization. We also believe there is no substitute for real, progressive action as all of us continue what has already become a perilous journey into the interior of 21st Century.  We are grateful for the many wonderful organizations and coalitions active in the Peace Movement today and wish to do all we can to support their efforts and to promote unity, harmony and collective power among them.

Presuppositions and World View

We readily confess our own set of presuppositions: Our world view consists of ideals for world peace; democracy (i.e. self-governance by the people); self-determination of all nations (people); respect for national sovereignty; noninterference in the domestic affairs of any nation by foreign governments; fair and just economic systems; responsibility for the preservation and protection of nature and compassion for ourselves and our fellow human beings.

The Enemy

We identify "Corporate Global Empire" as our common foe and the enemy of the people.  We believe that all current, viable political parties in the U.S. are in service to the empire and do not represent the people.  We are not to be identified as "Democrats", "Republicans", "Capitalists", "Communists" or "Socialists", "Progressives" or with any label that can be reduced to a religion, organization or any other "ism".  We offer no such target for attack by the enemies of the truth.

Whose work do we publish?

We welcome original writing from our readers, as well as news and article submissions. We do not reject any well-written submissions simply because we disagree with the content. However, we freely admit that the focus of our editorial policy is to advance the values indicated above in our Presuppositions and World View.

Axis of Logic Statement on Ascertainable Facts

The mission of Axis of Logic is to provide our readers with selected news and commentary which are often ignored or whitewashed by the mainstream media.

Given the strong desire of governments and their agencies or supporters to conceal and/or withhold items which may not serve their purpose, we are compelled to seek out the truth to provide our readers with a more informed and balanced perspective.

Such a vital mission involves a degree of risk. In reporting what we believe to be fact, we may at times, inadvertently, publish items which fall short of our high journalistic standards.

Whilst we make every reasonable effort to ensure accuracy, we cannot take responsibility for errors beyond our own direct control and resources.
