FYI, Donnie - that's what the wind does to your toupee.

Trump: "I Never Understood [Insert Subject Here]"

Trump, Saturday, speaking to a coven of the Hitler Youth: "I never understood wind. I know windmills very much, I have studied it [sic] better than anybody. I know it is very expensive. They are made in China and Germany mostly, very few made here, almost none, but they are manufactured, tremendous — if you are into this — tremendous fumes and gases are spewing into the atmosphere."

So Trump was initially correct: "I never understood wind."

Observes the U.S. Energy Information Administration (eia.gov): "Wind turbines do not release emissions that can pollute the air or water.... Wind turbines may also reduce the amount of electricity generation from fossil fuels, which results in lower total air pollution and carbon dioxide emissions."

Added Trump: "A windmill will kill many bald eagles. After a certain number, they make you turn the windmill off, that is true. By the way, they make you turn it off. And yet, if you killed one, they put you in jail. That is OK. But why is it OK for windmills to destroy the bird population?"

While it's true that wind turbines kill roughly 150,000 American birds each year, it's also true that literally billions of birds are murdered by cats. [This is true - prh, ed.]

My Trumpian solution to this wanton bird slaughter by bloodthirsty felines? Lock 'em up.
