Riding with Bach

In the midst of the ugliness of the world

He is driving his car and listening to a Bach CD

Thinks about the friend whom he never met and never will

He drives around

Birds are waiting to be fed

Errands have to be finished

He looks from the car window

People are passing by

He keeps questioning himself

Who supports the ugly war and who isnt?

Why innocent people were killed by their name?

Why mothers are loosing their children here and there?

What is the difference between them and us?

When killers will be punished?

In a sunny day,

Bach continues with his charming music

A woman hundreds of miles away

Sitting on a coach

Listening to the same music

An orange candle and a blue one are burning on the coffee table

The fragrance of a jasmine plant is filling the room

She is looking at her back yard

The snow is covering the garden

The moon is full

Can she dig her roots like a plant in this place?

She looks at the TV

A maniac is dragging an Iraqi prisoner on the floor

She lowered her face

Tears dropped on the candles

The room is dark

The moonlight is coming from the window

It is a cold night

Bach continues with his charming music

A door is slammed in the middle of the night

Footprints are marked on the snow

A scream is heard in the middle of the night

Bach continues with his charming music.
