By Mankh. Axis of Logic
This Light
hollow mind of summer
heat and mercurial responses,
ginger-root soda to the rescue
firing up the synapses
separation of church and state is a hoax,
the divine within is real
false masculinity wears a mask of separation
between brother and brother,
nation and nation
just something to die for
instead of looking behind,
reaching out, rising up to dance
across the line in the sand,
openhanded across
the heart-line in the palm
then and again
what's the difference what sex an ant is
when they all band together for common
bread-crumb purpose:
will you make room for this light
or will you become
your own jilted lover?
