Hey kids, school season starting,
talk about false flags,
pledge allegiance to the deification of McCain?
pledge allegiance to the militarization of outer space?
pledge allegiance to the commodification for which it scams,
one corporatocracy under a patriarchal Sky God
with no love for MotherEarth, divisible shares,
with shackles and prejudice for all who are not status quo?

Talk about false funerals,
the deification of McCain,
then the America’s Got Talent at Franklin’s
with a bishop copping a feel of a breast
of a young female performer, whoa, then apologizing,[1]
but wait there’s more,
a hijacked eulogy for the Queen of Soul,[2]
and she left no will
yet a spectacle of Pink Cadillacs,[3]
Both funerals so sad I had to laugh,
both so funny I had to cry.

Invisible flag false flags,
flag-draped coffins of Vietnam-era
no longer shown
lest the kiddies early morning pledge
lose its obedient sanctity.

First daze of school season,
NYC and NJ schools closed
due to high temperatures.
As the saying goes:
Mother Earth bats last, er, is the best teacher.
Will you enroll in Her school? Enroll with the punches
from bully pulpits and screaming media-heads,
enroll with this big round beautiful ball hurting
yet ever-teeming with life . . .
