but does he have spine?
always saying “Build Back Better”
but seriously, how do you “Build Back”?
i think it should be “Rebuild Better”
or simply “Build Better” bcuz you can’t
actually rebuild something
bcuz it’s not the same thing
when rebuilt.
But anyway, Build what?
and how much Better?
This is why i lose interest in politics
bcuz dunno what’s actually being said,
so i wish they’d “Say Again Better”
or maybe better yet if they just STFU
i dunno, just sayin’ bcuz i’m tired
of The Man mansplainin’.
 
Walking to the car the other day
a Crow’s caw stopped me in my tracks,
man, that big black bird was crowsplainin’
but you have to stop
and really listen
to have a chance of understanding,
same with the high tides slapping the shore,
woman, that water is slapsplainin’ in your face
trying to get your attention,
the water creeping up on the houses
and downtowns, reminds me of
Carl Sandburg’s poem “Fog”
“The fog comes
on little cat feet.
 
It sits looking
over harbor and city
on silent haunches
and then moves on.”
 
But this stuff ain’t moving on
it’s lurking in the air,
bubbling from the ground
sitting on huge haunches,
on big hippopotamus
and other endangered feet.
 
What if we just fix what’s broken
and stop building so much.
