There’s an exception to every rule
for every genius there’s at least one fool
be careful when you open that desk in school
for every hammer there’s another tool,
Pandora, you shouldn’t think outside your box
Pandora, you coulda stayed inside that box
Economy’s run by an offshores shell game
money, location location location and fame
currency without borders
currency with grimy waters
too many people just following orders,
Pandora, you shouldn’t think outside your box
Pandora, you coulda stayed inside that box
How sad the Gaza’s waters undrinkable
Israeli crackdown unthinkable,
Paper shortage because they’re making more boxes
all the consumer goods
where the fox is
work like an ox does
and may your efforts not be sinkable
World lost in translations
pitting nations against nations,
There was no Pandora box rather a large jar
the original word “pithos” in Greek,
nowadays people seeking
but stuff’s hard to find
infinite growth from finite resources is blind,
Pandora, you shouldn’t think outside your box
Pandora, you coulda stayed inside that box
The economy’s run by an offshores shell game
now officially a no-brainer
where the loot sits in storage containers
while Steven Donziger, Daniel Hale, Julian Assange,
Mumia, Peltier and more
linger in prison containers for the crimes of truth
and protecting the currency of waters.
Don’t let generosity
become a curiosity
while saving-up
for the purchasing of commodities,
wake-up
from the trance-actions,
currency of waters
that old man river made of sons and daughters
keeps rollin’ over countless stones and borders
countless stones
of rock solid generosity,
Pandora, you shouldn’t think outside your box
