It is December 25, Christmas today in the West when we enjoy our families and friends, exchange gifts and send messages to one another of "joy to the world" and "peace on earth, good will to mankind." So some might wonder why we are publishing this film documentary today, Normon Solomon's War Made Easy: How Presidents & Pundits Keep Spinning Us To Death. As we all know, peace and joy are in very short supply in our world and war is everywhere.

When we are struck with an illness the first step is to obtain a good diagnosis and understand the problem. So it is with our sick world and Solomon's film goes a long way to help us understand how we have contracted the disease of serial war. It covers US wars from WWI through to the second US war on the people of Iraq that commenced on March 19, 2003. At one point, Solomon describes a new methodology the US government employed in Iraq, calling it "A new wrinkle in an old game." Because of when it was produced, it does not cover the more recent use of terrorists to create mayhem against the peoples of Libya and now, Syria. But his phrase fits those wars as well, another "new wrinkle in an old game."

So we think that while enjoying our families, fine dinners and material blessings in the West today, we will do well to give one hour to find a better understanding of those words we write on greeting cards and to re-learn the true meaning of "peace" and "joy" by looking at how we are lured into sacrificing our material wealth and the lives of our young people, indirectly becoming killers ourselves - in the perpetual war led by the USA.

Axis of Logic sends fondest greetings to all of our readers and friends, wishing everyone a holiday season filled with deepest joy and that inexpressible peace that can flood the human heart when it is made open to "the one and the many."
