the tides
beware the tides of genocide
they wash up red on a shore
and what's more
there is so much debris
and carnage
body parts and
cadavers
indistinguishable one from another
they all wear the same face
of death
undeserved
yet reserved nonetheless
is a place in a mass grave
as butchery on an horrendous scale
is a grave business indeed
and human born atrocity
becomes a strange curiosity
