caught in the middle

there is an angry man
caught in the middle
half way between two extremes
one extreme shouts it's venom
at the other extreme that isn't listening
both extremes ignoring
the man in the middle
and so
the source
of feeling inconsequential
is obvious to anyone willing
to take a look
at our man in the middle
who can neither get attention or
be listened to and
two extremes are silenced
by the scream of the man in the middle
